We recommend eating Biltong 2-3 days after opening! Keeping the bag sealed does help prevent the meat from drying out too much, but the more time after opening passes, the more air gets in and it can make the meat too tough to eat.
Crisps have a one year shelf life and should be eaten within 1 day of opening to maintain their crunchy texture and delicious taste.
There is no need to refrigerate our Biltong or Crisps!
We use the best cuts of beef to make our Biltong and our Crisps. You can read more about the few ingredients we use here: How is Biltong Made.
We are available in quite a few retailers. Let us know where you are located and we can help you find the one closest to you.

Kalahari Snacks began after the adventure of a lifetime, when best friends traveled to South Africa and raced 175 miles in an Ironman and Ultramarathon within a week. There we discovered the age-old traditions of crafting and preserving beef with simple ingredients.
Since then, we’ve been rooted in our mission to share these styles and elevate the way people experience food.
